He Has Given Me Life

As I am just waking, blessed with a new day, I lie and wonder why some insist on rejecting Jesus? Why do they do everything they possibly can to disprove or stray from His teachings?

Why do they accept that there are “many ways to God,” but reject the words of Jesus when He said, “I AM THE WAY.” Is their way somehow a better way?

Is it the rules that are hard to follow? Is it the lack of proof for His existence? Is it because of the lack of evidence for a Creator, even though the evidence is in His creations? Is it just easier to not think about such a subject, or do they believe that no one is in need a Savior to be in good standing with a Holy God? Do they think that a need for a god is ludicrous? Maybe they haven’t read and/or understood His Word? Maybe Holy Spirit never gets a chance to speak above their own voice?

Maybe it is because the devil has them right where he wants them?

Maybe they just enjoy the things that only bring temporary pleasure? Maybe they think a lot of themselves? Is the self-absorption that important?

People have their reasons.

I also have a reason, and I reason in His truths!

My reason is the evident change He has made within. I know where I have been, and I also know where He has placed me. He brought me out of a world of hurt, time and time again.

Do you hurt?

How could anyone think that their personal greatness is more powerful than He who created us? Am I the “weak” one? Or, am I the stronger one for letting go of my selfish pride and ego in order to be filled with His presence?

So, we can agree to disagree. In the end we will all bow before Him, and we will know the glorious power of His claim of, “The Way!”

  1. I’d see if there was any evidence that can’t be explained in a physical way. Nobody has such evidence, or at least they’re keeping it to themselves.

  2. Have you seen the healing power of prayer? Have you known His presence within? Have you been corrected by His internal prompting when faced with the many faces of evil? Do you believe in evil? If you don’t know of evil, and you don’t believe in God, and you don’t have His presence within, then how can I explain it to you?
I’m not debating with someone who is determined to win any argument presented. I will pray for your soul.

    No.
Have you known His presence within?
    No.
Have you been corrected by His internal prompting when faced with the many faces of evil?
What is ‘internal correction’? I don’t understand your terminology.

    Do you believe in evil?
    No.

If you don’t know of evil, and you don’t believe in God, and you don’t have His presence within, then how can I explain it to you?
Use words to construct an argument, include evidence to ensure it’s correct.

I’m not debating with someone who is determined to win any argument presented.
I am not determined to win, I don’t mind changing my mind so don’t worry about that. I don’t join these conversations for.the sake of confrontation, it’s an equirey.

I will pray for your soul.
    What good will that do?

  4. What ‘things’?
A life wasted on a book of contradictions, religious rituals to no avail, an imaginary friend?
At the least, I’m not surrounded by people who imagine that they are somehow, morally/spiritually suoerior.
Please don’t waste your time on prayers, they have never done anything, do something useful instead- life it too short for all.tjat.

  5. Wow. Um, ok? I know His power. Far exceeding your opinion, or pride. I’ll do my “useful” things with the other crazy Christ-followers while you do yours with the people who already know everything. I certainly will pray for you.

  6. Like I said, you won’t understand because you reject His Holy Spirit, you hold no faith in Creator, you reject the the truths of Christ, and Satan. You are so wise in your own eyes. I cannot show you His truth because you haven’t experienced it firsthand. I’m not responding anymore, so don’t waste your time.

  7. 1 Corinthians 2:14 says…
But people who aren’t spiritual can’t receive these truths from God’s Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them and they can’t understand it, for only those who are spiritual can understand what the Spirit means.
This is really what I was getting at. I apologize for my rudeness. Friend, I truly hope you grow to know our Lord Jesus. He is the way in which we all seek. Blessings.
