  1. This is an interesting article. I can’t fully agree with it however. He is right that following any law will not save anyone. As a follower of Jesus, now I want to follow the law..I want to do the right thing. Not to be saved but out of love to God and others.
As for denominations, they can be decisive if allowed (which happens a lot), but it does not have to be. It can be just different ways to worship and serve God. Unless they are gong directly against the Bible, they can be saved in any denomination. Jesus did die for the church, which is people. What are denominations made of? People. It is just giving a method of worship a title. I see nothing wrong with that. I do have a problem when some say their way is the only way.
Sorry this was a long comment. It was interesting but thought I would give you my thoughts on it. Have a blessed day!

  2. We can agree to disagree, Tom. I agree with much of the article. Denominations are never mentioned in the New Testament, as he’d stated, other than being spoken against, throughout New Testament.
See that there be no division among you…(1 Corin. 1:10-15).

So why is dividing okay among us–His people?

As for following Old Testament, it shows how sinful we are and how much we should love the Lord for sacrificing Himself for us. We are NEVER capable of being good enough for Him.
For Jesus Himself said that no one is good–not one!!
Religion vs relationship with the living God in us is such a struggle for so many.

    Blessings to you as well!
