With Back Turned

What a joke these people are who say that, “God told them!”

In addition, what a disgrace it is to see so many blindly following these men and women proclaiming that GOD HIMSELF told them things like who would become the president, what day the world would end and so on. You name it and it has probably been the message out of the mouth of a self-proclaimed prophet.

In recent weeks my occasional interest has been in the complete ridiculousness of many preachers. They stand before the world and say things that are and have been proven to be lies, while masses of ignorant people praise them. I just don’t understand it? Do people not do research? Do they not know that God knows the whys, whats, hows and timing of everything that is? I’m no great Biblical theologian, but it doesn’t take much of a brain to see that God knows the beginning to the end…

Men, nor women, do not.

Then, according to them, people like myself are, “blind?”

People should really get off of their high horse. They should just do what Jesus told them to do: Love God, love their neighbors and love themselves, in a non-narcissistic manner.

When I hear, “God told me,” I only hear the voice of pride coming out of a mortal man’s mouth. A voice that spreads lies in an already broken world. I think I’ll just stick with the people who enjoy and recognize the true light of God.

  1. “9And he spake also this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and set all others at nought: 10Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. 11The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as the rest of men, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. 12I fast twice in the week; I give tithes of all that I get. 13But the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote his breast, saying, God, be merciful to me a sinner. 14I say unto you, This man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be humbled; but he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.”

There’s so much that goes on in the name of God by those who are biblical literalist, that really has nothing to do with Jesus Christ.
They trust in themselves and justify themselves using bible verses believing that the bible is the final authority.
Proving that they don’t actually believe that Jesus Christ is The living God, they cling to their bibles and beliefs.
I didn’t work for the Israelites and it won’t work for Christians either.

There’s some who are caught up in this deception who with one word or sentence will repent and change their beliefs.
Don’t stop engaging people, it is our responsibility to find the lost sheep and bring them back to the fold. They are scattered everywhere and also like to congregate in religious buildings.

    Have a great weekend Damon.
